One of the worst episodes of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia in 15 years. Watch it once so that you never have to watch it again. Since 10 is absolute perfection, i like to reserve those for truly amazing episodes. So 9's are right there, but just missing something. Wasn't the best episode, but clearly it's more of an experimental episode.
Famous Christmas movies, Christmas 20 oz. Stainless Steel Tumbler
Charlie lays out his perfect battleplan and rolls back through his many, many tripwires feeling safe and secure. That is until he gets his leg stuck in the beartrap. What started of as a Home Alone Parody has swiftly become a possible 127 Hours scenario. Against all the odds, Charlie is able to wiggle over to the door. He yanks the element of the handle, catches the hot end in his hands and then uses it to cauterise the gushing wound in his leg. The pain is too much, and he passes out.

As he is about to drink he hallucinates the cardboard cut-outs of Jason Kelce and Beau Allen coming alive and telling him to drink. After Charlie has drunken his piss, they tell him to turn on the TV. Charlie questions if he really needs to since he has already done all his color superstitions, but they tell him they would have never gotten so far without his rituals. Charlie makes his way across the bar to the TV, getting hit by numerous traps he set up in the process.

Until one of the players reminds him that there was a release on the beartrap this whole time. Finally, he’s free and the Superbowl is on tv. But wait, the patriots have the ball. The hallucinations have only one solution to help the Eagles get back in the game. Charlie needs to put his leg back in the trap. Unfortunately, that streak somewhat ends with ‘Charlie’s Home Alone’.
Thinking like the rat he just ate, Charlie chews through the tripwire and tries to catch the paint can. It’s an incomplete pass as the can hits him in the head and he’s out again. He wakes up again covered in green paint and red blood, but he has to get some yellow. He starts crawling towards the beer he left at the bar. The chain on his beartrap is wrapped around a stool and he has no more slack to give. Thinking on his feet, he uses his spiked baseball bat to hook the glass and move it towards him.

Immediately after, two men try to get into the bar and are confused by the poorly written sign. Scared and alone, Charlie takes it upon himself to create some defence mechanisms. Unsurprisingly Charlie steps in the bear trap. He manages to cauterize his heavily bleeding leg, but passes out from the pain for an entire day. When he gains consciousness the game is just starting. Distraught Charlie realizes he hasn't done his rituals when he comes across a rat. Stopping it from going into a rat trap, he takes it in his hands and strokes it, saying he knows now what it feels like to be caught in a trap.
As a long time and hardcore Sunny fan, I was laughing consistently throughout this episode after the point where Charlie got left alone. Definitely one of the best so far in what is looking to be potentially one of the worst seasons, and I don't think the amount of hate this episode is getting here is fair. Charlie's performance in this episode is fantastic and that alone made it great for me. Looking forward to next weeks continuation.

Charlie spends a majority of the episode crawling around the bar with a bear trap on his leg, which is bloody and gross. The whole thing is cringe worthy and the fact that there's a part two is horrific. It's supposed to be a parody of Home Alone but is much more like Saw for no reason. So far he's gotten caught in a bear trap, walked through broken glass, gotten hit repeatedly in the head by paint cans and drank his own urine.
This episode was cringe from start to finish, hopefully they rebound next week. Then we had the weird Charlie hallucination/Home Alone parody. This felt dated, random, awkward, and just wasn't as funny as this show used to be.
It wasn't fantastic as one might hope for since it's a one man show and missing the group dynamic that makes the show what it is but honestly people need to cut iasip some slack on this one. It's quite interesting and humorous and a little gory but hey that's what makes iasip better than the rest, they're not afraid to try something new. The pair spend the whole movie communicating by radio and hug and laugh upon finally coming face to face. Powell then becomes the hero by saving McClane from the one remaining henchman. Bruce Willis in a scene from the film "Die Hard," 1988. In one scene Charlie Brown, who is feeling dejected about the festive season, asks his friends if any of them even know the true meaning of Christmas.
Charlie ignores the offered asparagus because it isn’t part of his colour scheme. He has to wear green, drink yellow, and eat brown. He wishes everyone would disappear before storming inside to check again for his morph suit.
He eats a live rat , slurping down the tail like some bagged spaghetti. Then, he douses himself in paint , and finally chugs a pint glass full of his own urine . This episode featured a self-inflicted gorefest unlike anything seen on Sunny before.
